Dear Shaheen Users,
We would like to inform you of the upcoming planned maintenance session for Shaheen, which is scheduled to begin at 08:00 on Monday, March 17, and is expected to conclude by the end of Tuesday, March 18. Additionally, Wednesday, March 19, will be considered an at-risk period.
This maintenance coincides with the data center’s annual preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimize disruption to users. As part of the work, we will be migrating our primary NFS server to new hardware.

Dear Shaheen Users,
We are currently troubleshooting a hardware issue affecting the /scratch filesystem. As a result, you may experience intermittent slowness when accessing files on this filesystem.
We do not anticipate that this will cause any job failures; however, we want to make you aware of the ongoing work in case you notice slower response times.
Our team is actively working to resolve the issue.
