Dear Shaheen Users,
We would like to inform you that the planned maintenance session for Shaheen has been extended to accommodate the data center’s preventative maintenance (PPM), which has been communicated to us as requiring additional time.
Shaheen will now be unavailable from 16:00 on Sunday, March 16, until the end of the day on Wednesday, March 19. Additionally, Thursday, March 20, will be considered an at-risk period.
This maintenance includes the migration of our primary NFS server to new hardware and is aligned with the data center’s annual PPM to minimize disruption to users.
Please ensure you save your work and plan accordingly. There will be no access to the login nodes and the filesystems during this time.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this essential maintenance.
