As previously announced, please be reminded that Shaheen3 system will be unavailable from the morning of Thursday the 25th of April. The duration of the outage will be approximately 2-3 weeks, please consider the 3rd week as an "at risk" period.
During this outage, the KAUST datacenter team will conduct preventative maintenance of the facility as well as finish the remaining civil work on the cooling pipes.
At the same time, KSL and HPE team will migrate the project filesystem from Shaheen2 and make it available on Shaheen3 through the high speed network (Slingshot 11).
At the moment, we expect Shaheen3 to be back into production during the week commencing May 12th. However, we will communicate the exact date in a further announcement.
Please also note that there will be no Shaheen2 service after the 25th of April, when the system will be decommissioned.
